Adam Croft (b. 9th June 1939) is a British Liberal politician and was Leader of the Liberals. He currently represents the constituency of Truro.

Biography Edit

Croft was born in Dunstable, South Bedfordshire in 1939. He was educated at Truro Grammar School before going onto study Political Science at the University of Winchester before becoming an accountant in the late 1960s. Since that time, he has served as Mayor of Truro (1971-1974) and was elected as MP for Truro in 1974. He was selected as Leader of the Liberal Party in 1981, following the resignation of David Steel, however he quietly departed from politics and left the Liberal Leadership to James Kennedy.
